What you can do on fcs.up.gov.in

We looked for an official ePoS distribution report link for UP in our sources and did not find one we could confirm, so we do not list it here. If you need monthly distribution data, look on the portal for a report or ePoS section.

How to use the portal: step by step

1. Type fcs.up.gov.in in your browser, or use the official link on this page. Check that the address ends in .up.gov.in.
2. On the home page, look for the citizen options. The Current India reports an eligibility list option and a "Download form" button on the home page.
3. Pick your task: list, card search, application status or forms.
4. Follow the screens: usually district, then town or block, then dealer for the list; or card number, captcha and OTP for card search.
5. Use your browser's Print or Save as PDF option to keep a copy of what you see.
6. If a menu is missing or renamed, go back to the home page and look for similar words in Hindi or English, such as पात्रता सूची, आवेदन की स्थिति or Forms.

fcs.up.gov.in vs nfsa.up.gov.in

Both are UP government domains. fcs.up.gov.in is the department's main website, and it is the site third-party guides describe for list, status and download. nfsa.up.gov.in exists, and a citizen page there is commonly cited online, but we could not confirm what it currently shows. These contact details are cited online but we could not confirm them on a live official page. Check the department's own contact page before relying on them:

• Commissioner, Food and Logistics Department, Jawahar Bhawan, Lucknow; phone 0522-2286049; email up.fncs@gmail.com. This comes from a third-party listing (indiacustomercare.com), so confirm it first.
• Toll-free 1800-1800-150 and short code 1967 are commonly listed online for UP, but are not confirmed on an official page.
• The ONORC number 14445 is listed in an official PIB document.

For most card problems, your district supply office (जिला पूर्ति कार्यालय) or tehsil supply office is the practical first stop.

Complaints

If a dealer refuses ration, gives less grain or charges money for free NFSA grain, you can complain. UP's public grievance system (IGRS, also called Jansunwai Samadhan) handles department complaints; Drishti IAS reported in May 2025 that the Food and Civil Supplies Department ranked fourth on IGRS complaint disposal in an April report. We could not confirm the exact IGRS web address, so search for it carefully and make sure it ends in .gov.in. Write down the shop name, date and what happened before you complain.

Old addresses and look-alike sites

People still search for older or misspelled addresses. Use the current address fcs.up.gov.in as given in published lists of state ration portals. Watch out for:

• Sites using "fcs up" in a .com or .in name that are not government sites.
• Pages asking you to pay for a ration card list, download or name addition.
• Callers or messages asking for your OTP or Aadhaar to "update" your fcs.up record. Never share them.
• Apps not published by National Informatics Centre that claim to be ration apps.
